Snowbird Toy Transport to Naples
Our home market — gated communities, marinas and heavy cart usage.
Overview
What this looks like in Naples
Naples is where Enterprise Auto Transport is based, and it is the destination we know best. The equipment arriving here every fall is overwhelmingly golf carts, boats and RVs, and the recurring problem is never the 1,500 miles of highway — it is the last quarter mile.
Gate policies, HOA delivery rules, narrow community streets and RV storage requirements decide how a delivery actually happens here, and they are worth sorting out before your equipment is on a truck.
Gated communities set the delivery terms
A large share of Naples addresses sit behind a gate with its own rules on commercial vehicles, delivery hours and whether a driver needs to be on a list in advance. A truck that arrives unannounced at a guard house does not get in, and the driver's schedule does not allow for an hour of negotiation.
Most communities prohibit RV parking on the property
Many Naples neighborhoods do not allow an RV to be parked at a residence beyond a short loading period, if at all. That means the real delivery address for most RVs here is a storage facility, and you need that arranged before the unit leaves the north.
Golf carts are transportation, not recreation
Cart usage in Naples is high enough that carts function as second vehicles. Deliveries are usually straightforward — a cart can be unloaded almost anywhere — but community rules on street-legal versus non-street-legal carts vary, and that is worth knowing before you ship one down.
Equipment
What actually moves into this market
Golf carts
The highest-volume item into this market. Confirm your community's rules on cart type before you ship.
Boats and trailers
Delivery is frequently to a marina or a dry-stack facility rather than a home. Arrange the slip or rack first.
RVs and fifth wheels
Almost always delivered to a storage facility. Reserve the space before the unit ships.
Motorcycles
Easy deliveries in most cases, but a large truck may still not fit down a narrow community street.
Utility trailers
Often restricted from residential parking by HOA rules. Plan for storage.
Corridors
Routes we run on this lane
| Route | What to know |
|---|---|
| Minneapolis → Naples | One of the heaviest single corridors into this market each October. |
| Chicago → Naples | About 1,300 miles with good carrier density in both directions. |
| Detroit → Naples | Straight I-75 all the way. Simple routing, heavy fall volume. |
| Boston / New York → Naples | Long East Coast runs with cross-peninsula delivery at the end. |
| Milwaukee → Naples | Strong Wisconsin presence in Collier County keeps this lane active all season. |
Planning
Seasonal timing and local access
Timing
- Arrivals concentrate from mid-October through December. That is also when carriers are most heavily committed, so book three to six weeks out.
- Departures north run March through May, with April the busiest month.
- Reserve RV or boat storage before the unit ships. Season capacity in Collier County fills, and a truck cannot wait while you find space.
- Hurricane season overlaps the early fall window. Late-season storms can pause deliveries into Southwest Florida entirely.
Delivery considerations
- Put the carrier on your community's approved delivery list ahead of time, with the driver's name if the gate requires it.
- Ask your HOA about delivery hours — some restrict commercial vehicles to weekday daytime windows.
- Many interior community streets cannot accommodate a tractor-trailer. Expect to meet near the entrance for large items.
- For a boat, confirm the marina, ramp or dry-stack facility can receive it on the delivery date.

Questions
Naples transport FAQs
Can my RV be delivered to my house in Naples?
Often not. Many communities here restrict or prohibit RV parking on residential property. Most owners have the unit delivered to a storage facility, which needs to be reserved before shipping.
Will the truck get through my community gate?
Only if the gate is expecting it. Add the carrier to your approved list in advance and confirm the community's delivery hours.
Where do boats get delivered in Naples?
Usually a marina, boatyard or dry-stack facility. Home delivery is possible where there is genuinely room for a truck and trailer to turn around, which is less common than people assume.
Do I need to be present for delivery?
Someone does. Delivery includes a walkaround and a signed bill of lading. Inspect carefully before you sign, and document anything you find.
When should equipment arrive for the season?
Most owners target late October through early December. Booking three to six weeks ahead of that arrival keeps you out of the worst of the crunch.

Not sure what kind of hauler you need?
Don't worry. You don't have to know whether you need a power-only truck, flatbed, enclosed trailer, RV driver or specialized carrier. Just tell us what you're moving, its approximate size, where it's going and when you need it moved. We'll review the shipment and determine what type of transportation is appropriate.
Please note: Anything that rolls on its own wheels must be roadworthy before pickup. The customer is responsible for repairs — tires, bearings, brakes, lights — and for towing and repair costs if the unit becomes disabled in transit.
