White glove

Enclosed Car Transport

White-glove, fully covered transport for luxury, exotic and collector vehicles.

Enclosed transport is the highest level of protection available. Your vehicle travels inside a sealed semi-trailer with hydraulic lift-gate loading, climate-shielded walls and a maximum of six to seven vehicles on board — no road debris, no weather, no exposure.

  • $1,000,000 cargo insurance included
  • Hydraulic lift-gate — no steep ramp angles
  • Owner Operated
  • Low-clearance and non-running capable
  • Two-driver teams available on long lanes
  • Photo documentation at load and unload

Built for six-figure vehicles

Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche GT, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, restored muscle and concours-level classics move in enclosed trailers because the margin for error is zero. Lift-gates eliminate the ramp scrape risk that low-clearance cars face on open carriers.

Fewer cars, more attention

An enclosed trailer carries a fraction of what an open carrier holds. That means fewer stops, fewer handling events and a driver who is a specialist in high-value freight rather than volume runs.

The soft-tie system

Inside the trailer your vehicle is secured with padded nylon straps looped over the tires — never chains, hooks or binders attached to the frame or suspension. The soft-tie system holds the car firmly without transferring road shock through the undercarriage, and it eliminates the paint, wheel and trim damage that traditional tie-down hardware can cause. Every enclosed load is cross-checked before the trailer doors seal.

Discretion

Nothing about the trailer advertises what is inside. For clients moving significant collections between residences, that privacy matters as much as the physical protection.

Not sure which type of carrier you need?

Don't worry. You don't have to know whether your vehicle belongs on an open carrier, an enclosed trailer, a winch-equipped truck or specialized equipment. Just tell us what you're shipping, its condition, where it's going and when you need it moved. We'll review the shipment and determine what type of transportation is appropriate.

Please note: Anything that rolls on its own wheels must be roadworthy before pickup. The customer is responsible for repairs — tires, bearings, brakes, lights — and for towing and repair costs if the unit becomes disabled in transit.

At pickup

Photograph and video the pickup

Photograph everything the day of pickup

  • Photos of the truck and trailer that is picking up your vehicle
  • A clear photo of the truck / trailer license plate
  • A photo of the driver's CDL
  • Photos of your car before loading — front, back, both sides and the top
  • A video showing your car actually being loaded onto the truck

Photos taken beforehand are not accepted by insurance companies — they must be taken at pickup, the day the carrier loads your vehicle.

All claims must be filed with the carrier, not with Enterprise Auto Transport. The assigned carrier holds the cargo insurance on your vehicle; as a licensed broker we arrange the transport and do not carry cargo coverage.

FAQ

Enclosed Car Transport questions

How much more does enclosed cost?
Typically 40–60% above open transport on the same lane. On high-value vehicles it is inexpensive insurance.
Do you offer single-car enclosed?
Yes. Exclusive-use enclosed transport is available when you want your vehicle to be the only one on the truck.
Why does the soft-tie system matter for enclosed transport?
Chains and hooks concentrate stress on frame points and suspension components, which can crack paint, bend trim and transmit every bump into the chassis. Our enclosed carriers use padded nylon straps over the tires to hold the vehicle steady without touching the bodywork — the same standard used by factory delivery trucks.
