PCS guide
Military PCS Car Shipping
Base-by-base logistics for 24 major U.S. installations — realistic timelines, on-post access reality, OCONUS port routing and a military rate on every service.
How it works
A PCS move is a deadline, not a delivery
Orders do not move. Everything else has to bend around them. That is the whole difference between a normal auto transport booking and a military one, and it is why we plan backward from your report date instead of forward from today.
Send us your orders window
We do not need the orders themselves to quote. We need your report date, your current installation and your next one. From that we work backward to a realistic pickup window.
We dispatch a vetted carrier
Every carrier is checked for active authority, current cargo insurance and a clean Central Dispatch history before we assign your vehicle. Open or enclosed, your choice.
Inspection and custody
Photograph the truck, the plate, the driver's CDL and every panel of your vehicle before loading. The Bill of Lading is the legal record of condition at pickup and delivery.
Overseas and OCONUS legs
For Hawaii, Alaska and overseas orders we deliver to the port terminal and coordinate the ocean leg timing so you are not paying storage while you wait for a sailing.
Installations
Searchable PCS base directory
Search by installation, city or lane, or filter by state, branch and the PCS lanes we run most often. Each guide covers the access reality at that installation, seasonal pricing factors and what to have ready at pickup.

PCS vehicle prep checklist
Ten minutes of preparation prevents the two problems that actually derail PCS shipments: a driver who cannot load the vehicle, and a condition dispute at delivery.
- Have your report date and both installations confirmed before you book
- Give a 3–5 day pickup window instead of one hard date — it lowers the rate and protects the schedule
- Remove all personal belongings; carriers are not licensed to haul household goods
- Remove or disable toll transponders — we are not responsible for tolls charged in transit
- Leave a quarter tank of fuel, no more
- Bring military ID and, if a spouse or family member is releasing the vehicle, a power of attorney
- Note lift kits, oversized tires, crew cab or long bed configurations — they change which trucks can load you
- Photograph everything at pickup and again at delivery, before you sign
OCONUS
Hawaii, Alaska and overseas orders
Anything with an ocean leg runs on a sailing schedule, not a truck schedule. Weekly cutoffs mean a missed date costs a week, so the booking sequence matters more than the price.
Shipping a car to Hawaii
Port process, island delivery, 2026 pricing and a free estimator — for Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Schofield Barracks, Kaneohe Bay and neighbor-island assignments.
Shipping a car to Alaska
Tacoma-to-Anchorage ocean routing, weekly sailing cutoffs and winter transit realities for JBER and Fort Wainwright moves.
