Snowbird Toy Transport to Fort Myers

RV resort country with strong boating access and dense fall arrivals.

Overview

What this looks like in Fort Myers

Fort Myers takes in a large share of the Midwest's seasonal equipment, and the mix skews further toward RVs than Naples does. Lee County has a deep supply of RV resorts and seasonal parks, which changes the delivery picture: the address is more often a park or a lot than a private driveway.

Enterprise Auto Transport arranges the shipment with a carrier suited to the item and coordinates the delivery point with you before the truck rolls.

RV resorts have their own delivery rules

Parks commonly limit delivery hours, require check-in at an office, and restrict which interior roads a large truck can use. Some will not allow a tractor-trailer past the entrance at all. Ask the park directly and tell us what they say.

Water access is a genuine draw

The Caloosahatchee and the Gulf make this a boat-heavy destination. Delivery to a ramp, marina or dry-stack is common, and those facilities need advance notice to receive a hauled boat.

Storm-season awareness

Southwest Florida is exposed during hurricane season, which overlaps the early part of the arrival window. Facilities occasionally close or restrict access after a storm, and that can hold deliveries for days.

Equipment

What actually moves into this market

RVs, fifth wheels and park models

The largest category here. Confirm the site number, the park's delivery rules and whether a tractor can reach it.

Boats

Delivery to marinas and ramps is routine. Confirm the receiving facility and the date.

Golf carts

Widely used in Lee County communities and easy to deliver in most cases.

Toy haulers

Common in the RV resorts. Loaded weight has to be accurate at quote time.

Motorcycles

Steady arrivals in the fall, usually delivered without complication.

Planning

Seasonal timing and local access

Timing

  • Arrivals build from October and peak in November and December.
  • Northbound departures cluster in March and April as seasonal park leases end.
  • Book your resort site and your transport in the same conversation. A site without transport, or transport without a site, both end badly.
  • Allow buffer days in September and October for storm-related delays.

Delivery considerations

  • Get the park's written delivery policy before you schedule. Hours and truck-size limits vary widely between resorts.
  • Some parks require you to be on site to accept the unit and sign off.
  • Interior park roads and tight site pads often mean the carrier drops at a staging area and the park's own equipment positions the unit.
  • For boats, confirm the marina's receiving hours and whether they have a lift available on your delivery date.

Questions

Fort Myers transport FAQs

Can my fifth wheel be delivered directly to my RV resort site?

Sometimes. Many parks restrict large trucks to the entrance or a staging area and position units themselves. Ask the park and tell us their answer before we dispatch.

Do I need to be there when the RV arrives?

Most parks require it, and it is a good idea regardless. Delivery includes an inspection and a signed bill of lading.

Can you deliver a boat to a marina here?

Yes, with the facility's confirmation. If the boat is on a flatbed, the marina needs a lift available that day.

What happens if a storm delays my delivery?

The load waits somewhere safe until access reopens. We keep you informed, but no carrier is going to run into a closed area, and you would not want them to.

Not sure what kind of hauler you need?

Don't worry. You don't have to know whether you need a power-only truck, flatbed, enclosed trailer, RV driver or specialized carrier. Just tell us what you're moving, its approximate size, where it's going and when you need it moved. We'll review the shipment and determine what type of transportation is appropriate.

Please note: Anything that rolls on its own wheels must be roadworthy before pickup. The customer is responsible for repairs — tires, bearings, brakes, lights — and for towing and repair costs if the unit becomes disabled in transit.
