Two vehicles from the same address to the same address on the same truck usually price better per car than two separate shipments, because the driver only makes one stop at each end. Tell us both vehicles when you request the quote rather than adding the second one later.

Can I put belongings in my car?

Personal items are not covered by the carrier's cargo insurance and add weight the carrier is not licensed to haul as freight. Many carriers will accept a modest amount — typically up to around 100 pounds in the trunk, below the window line — but this is carrier-specific and must be agreed in advance. Never leave valuables, documents or firearms in the vehicle.

Why can Florida-to-Minnesota pricing be different from Minnesota-to-Florida?

Because auto transport is priced by direction, not by distance alone. A carrier heading into a market where loads are plentiful will discount the trip to get there; a carrier heading out of a market everyone is leaving can charge more. That is why the same 1,800 miles can carry a different number in April than it does in November.
