Verify before you book

Two minutes on the FMCSA website tells you who you're really dealing with

You do not have to take any company's word for it. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration keeps free public records on every licensed brokerage and carrier in the country. Here is exactly what to ask for and where to verify it:

  1. 1.Ask for the MC and USDOT numbers

Every legitimate brokerage and carrier must provide both on request. Our numbers: USDOT #2273104 and MC #774106. If a company hesitates or deflects, stop.

  2. 2.Look them up on the FMCSA SAFER system

Go to safer.fmcsa.dot.gov and use the Company Snapshot search. Enter the MC or USDOT number and confirm the legal name, operating status and “Authorized” brokerage or carrier authority match what you were told.

  3. 3.Confirm the $75,000 brokerage bond

In the FMCSA Licensing & Insurance portal (li-public.fmcsa.dot.gov), verify the brokerage's BMC-84 bond or BMC-85 trust fund is active. No active bond means no legal authority to brokerage your shipment.

  4. 4.Demand the carrier's information and payment breakdown

If a company says they have a carrier for you but never sends you the carrier's name, DOT/MC number, driver contact and truck details, or you never get to see how much of your payment is going to the carrier, that is a red flag. A legitimate brokerage discloses the assigned carrier and explains the brokerage fee before you book.

When you check our records you'll find Enterprise Auto Transport LLC, USDOT #2273104, MC #774106; an owner-operated, federally licensed and bonded brokerage based in Naples, Florida, working by phone and email with no walk-in office. You can also read our full carrier vetting process.

A rating system is only as trustworthy as its review process

In the auto transport industry, brokerages and carriers depend on load boards like Central Dispatch to conduct business. Reviews play an important role in determining which companies others choose to work with.

When a carrier posts accusations that our written records contradict, we will take action to defend our reputation and present that evidence.

We recently encountered this exact problem at Enterprise Auto Transport LLC.

Our Experience With Lashas Quality Transport

Client email describing the proposed hour-long drive and pickup concerns
This is an email our client sent to us and gave us permission to share.

We dispatched a vehicle to Lashas Quality Transport through Central Dispatch.

The carrier attempted to have our customer drive more than an hour away to meet the truck. When the customer could not accommodate that request, the carrier texted us apologizing and stating that he had to cancel the shipment.

We have the cancellation in writing

We have his cancellation in writing.

The vehicle remained posted for over a week while we searched for another carrier.

The review and the records contradicting it

Original text conversation about the pickup arrangements and customer contact

Despite this, Lashas Quality Transport subsequently posted the following review:

They dispatched a load to me, but another company had already picked up the vehicle. They didn't even provide the customers phone number and told me to call them instead. Carriers and customers, stay away from these dishonest people.

The problem is that we have documentation directly contradicting these accusations.

We also have correspondence from our customer supporting our account.

Yet this review can damage our reputation with other carriers before we have an opportunity to present that evidence.

  • The carrier canceled the shipment himself, as confirmed by his text messages.
  • The customer's telephone number was provided in the original dispatch.
  • The carrier had already spoken with our customer several times.
  • The vehicle had not been picked up by another company when the carrier canceled.

We will present our evidence to Central Dispatch

We are asking Central Dispatch to investigate this review and consider suspending Lashas Quality Transport if the review is found to be knowingly false.

We accessed the official Central Dispatch Ratings Rules of Engagement on October 18, 2026, at 8:20 PM.

You can read the published rules here:

We will provide the dispatch records, the carrier's text messages and our customer's email supporting our position.

This is not an attack on Central Dispatch. We value the platform and believe reviews are an essential part of the transportation industry.

We will seek an examination of the evidence and a written response to our concerns.

A Public Response Is Not the Same as a Formal Dispute

Central Dispatch does not allow us to remove this review. Replying does not remove it.

We submitted a response to the carrier's review, but that response takes approximately three days to appear.

During that time, other carriers can read the original accusations without seeing our explanation.

Even after our response appears, the original allegations remain visible.

Being allowed to respond to an accusation is not the same as having the accusation independently investigated.

We will pursue our complaint with the supporting records rather than treating a public reply as the resolution.

False Reviews Can Cause Real Financial Damage

A negative review on an auto transport load board is not the same as an ordinary consumer complaint.

Carriers and brokerages use these platforms to decide whether to accept loads, extend credit, or establish business relationships.

An accusation of dishonesty can affect whether another company is willing to work with you.

For a small brokerage that has spent years building its reputation, that damage can be significant.

In our case, the situation is especially upsetting because the customers involved were a couple experiencing financial hardship.

We voluntarily gave up most of our brokerage fee to help them afford transporting their vehicle.

After the carrier canceled, we spent additional time finding replacement transportation. Now we are spending even more time defending our company against allegations contradicted by our records.

We are prepared to pursue legal action if necessary to protect our company's reputation.

What we are going to do

We are taking the following steps to challenge this review and protect our business reputation:

We want the evidence examined. Honest negative reviews should remain protected, but factual accusations contradicted by records deserve scrutiny.

  • Provide Central Dispatch with our dispatch records, cancellation text messages and customer correspondence.
  • Request an investigation into the factual statements in this review.
  • Ask Central Dispatch to consider suspending Lashas Quality Transport if the review is found to be knowingly false.
  • Publish the supplied messages and client email so readers can see the records we are relying on.
  • Pursue legal action if necessary to protect our company's reputation.

We will follow through to protect our reputation

Enterprise Auto Transport is prepared to provide the complete documentation surrounding our experience with Lashas Quality Transport.

We are also prepared to pursue legal action if necessary to protect our business reputation.

However, we would prefer to resolve this through a fair, accessible review process.

We will follow up with Central Dispatch by Cox Automotive about our complaint and the supporting evidence.

A trustworthy review system must protect both the right to leave honest feedback and the right to challenge false accusations.

Other brokerages and carriers can decide for themselves whether to do business with Lashas Quality Transport. We are making our records available so they can consider our position.

Key takeaways

  • Enterprise has written cancellation messages, dispatch records and client correspondence supporting its position.
  • Enterprise cannot remove this disputed review; a public reply does not remove it.
  • We will submit our evidence, request an investigation and pursue legal action if necessary to protect our reputation.
