Can the carrier come inside The Moorings?

Often yes. Where the association or the road width will not allow a full-size carrier, the driver stages nearby and we complete the last leg individually. There is no extra charge for that.

How far in advance should I book?

Three to six weeks ahead for October–December arrivals and March–May departures. Returning clients get priority dispatch with our preferred carrier network.

Open or enclosed for this community?

Enclosed transport, soft-tie strapping, single-vehicle or top-load placement. Open carriers include $250,000 cargo insurance coverage; enclosed carriers carry up to $2,000,000 cargo insurance coverage with a soft-tie system.

Can you ship more than one vehicle to the same address?

Regularly. Multiple vehicles from one household can travel together in a single trailer to the same address, which usually prices better than two separate bookings.

Do I need to be there for delivery?

Someone over 18 needs to release and receive the vehicle and sign the Bill of Lading. A neighbor, property manager or house-watch service works if you are still up north.
